About Logan County Schools: Logan County is a unique county school system that has one high school and five K-8 feeder schools.

Job Overview:

We are seeking two dynamic and experienced individuals to join our team as Assistant Athletic Directors. The successful candidates will work closely with the Athletic Director to support the planning, coordination, and management of our high school and  middle school athletic programs.

Responsibilities:

• Program Coordination:
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating all high school and middle school athletic events, practices, and competitions.
• Collaborate with coaches and staff to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the athletic programs.
• Help align all programs from youth leagues to High School in all sports.
• Coaching Staff Support:
• Provide support to coaching staff, assisting with recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Oversee specific sports programs as assigned by the Athletic Director.
• Student-Athlete Development:
• Assist in the implementation of character education programs to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development among student-athletes.
• Support initiatives for skill development and improvement.
• Event Management:
• Help coordinate and manage logistical aspects of game-day operations, including facilities, equipment, and event staff.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of tournaments, competitions, and special events.
• Communication:
• Assist in maintaining regular communication with administrators, coaches, parents, students, and the community regarding athletic events, schedules, and program updates.
• Contribute to the promotion of a positive image of the school's athletic program through various communication channels.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in coaching, athletic administration, or a related role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of sports scheduling, event management, and high school and  middle school athletic programs.
• Knowledge of KHSAA bylaws.
